Julie Scopazzi

Julie has more than 25 years of marketing and media experience ranging from Emmy award-winning broadcasts to revenue-generating marketing plans. A San Francisco native, Julie went directly into television news reporting after receiving a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Jose State University in 1984. She also completed postgraduate work at the University of Missouri’s prestigious School of Journalism. She has since worked in California markets from Redding to Los Angeles, started a company training CEOs how to make the most of their media interviews and parlayed her media relations experience into a public relations and marketing career.

Julie is the former executive vice-president of longtime San Jose advertising and public relations agency Carter Israel, where she worked on local brands such as Sand Hill Capital, Silicon Valley Bank, ABD Insurance, FindLaw.com, Ando Electronics, Meriwest Credit Union, Valley Credit Union, Le Boulanger, Inc. and many more. She also served as Director of Public Affairs for the largest trade association in Silicon Valley, the California Apartment Association and Marketing Director for Second Harvest Food Bank. She currently serves on the Board Development Committee for the Girl Scouts of Northern California and on the San Jose State University Exceptional Women Executives Steering Committee. She is also a founding member of the Exchange Club of Santa Cruz.

Wendy Krugman

For nearly a decade, Wendy has worked hand-in-hand with her clients to develop and implement effective marketing communications campaigns. She has worked a long side startups as well as major corporations to identify and execute strategies and tactics that maximize exposure, minimize cost, and provide revenue-generating results. Wendy provides day-to-day counsel on a variety of marketing communications needs, including media and analyst relations, strategic planning, integrated campaign development, social media strategy, new product launches, messaging, tradeshows and event marketing.

Her experience working on both the agency and corporate side of public relations has allowed her to hone her skills in media relations, and she has achieved extensive coverage in a variety of high profile national news outlets and trade publications including, The Wall Street Journal, San Francisco Business Times, San Jose Mercury News, and the EE Times to name a few.

Prior to Strategic Marketing Service, Wendy worked as a PR Account Manager at DRB Partners, Inc., where she serviced clients across a broad spectrum of industries including; semiconductor, automotive services, real estate, home theater technology, medical equipment, community affairs and professional services. She has also worked as an Online Marketing Associate for Fox Racing, Inc., Director of Special Events for The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Senior Account Executive for Carter Israel Advertising and Public Relations.

Wendy attended San Jose State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Communication Studies. She is also active in the local Silicon Valley PRSA Chapter.

Kimberley Wall

Kimberley has more than twenty years’ experience in operations management in the non-profit and private sectors as well as within the public service arena. Her experience with employers such as Procter & Gamble, NASA, and Monterey County government spans two decades and encompasses a variety of responsibilities ranging from budgeting and negotiation to conflict resolution and global marketing.

Having served as a global marketing administrator and a global partner marketing funds associate provided Kimberley with excellent preparation for managing operations at Strategic Marketing Service.

Kimberley has the ability to grasp both the big picture and the details of the task. Her natural analytical skills were honed by a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University at Sacramento, and her artistic talents emerged when faced with real-life business problems requiring creative solutions.
